This morning we got up SUPER early (which I wasnt excited about) and set out in the bus to the Canon de Colca, in hope to see the condors fly. I was all very skeptical, we got up early then had a 2 hour bus ride on NON paved roads. But after getting there I was amazed. I have never seen such large birds and fly soooo close to us. It was hard to capture on camera but I tried my best.
We spent about an hour there just watching them fly and after that we headed out of the valley and on to Arequipa to meet our families!!!
Can't wait to hear about your family! The condors look pretty amazing!
